Hello World!

Today marks the day my cute little website allows for some actual through sharing! Hip hip hooray! Given this opportunity, I will try to explain the reason why I decided to get a website in the first place.

Why?

Because social media sucks. Especially nowadays.

I hate having to make an account, look out for my friends, and later find out that the devs are ruining the place. Sometimes even forgetting about the entire process and making another account, only to continue the neverending loop.

How is making your own website better?

Debatably, it isn't. However, I also wanted to have a place where I could share my thoughts.

With my continuous pattern of deleting and creating social media accounts, I decided to make a website.

This way, I am at least financially invested into this.

How is it like having to imagine the questions only to answer them straight away?

Same as I usually do. Now displayed for the whole world to see.

Why is it so ugly?

That's my child you're talking about!

Obviously this website will improve over time. As long as I care about it, that is.

As it stands, I don't have any particular plan for the website, so my future blogs may be different from each other.

One of my inspirations for making this website was danboland, a random website i stumbled upon one day. It's pure HTML and i think there's beauty in simplicity.

I would love to add RSS in the future, and maybe something more interactive. but we'll see.
